Welcome to MS Biogen Research Week 2020

Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the steering committee, it is with great pleasure to announce the 4th MS Biogen Research Week organized by Biogen International GmbH. The meeting will be held on a virtual platform from December 1st to December 3rd, 2020.

The purpose of this collaborative event is to provide an international forum of scientific exchange for established and interested MS neurologists, scientists, and researchers. You will have the opportunity to actively engage with other expert colleagues on a wide spectrum of Biogen-sponsored and independent, unsponsored MS research projects, ranging from investigator-initiated trials (IITs) to real-world research activities. This year, the online platform will allow us unprecedented interactive and networking possibilities, I encourage you to take advantage of those and to engage in fruitful scientific discussions with the other attendees and colleagues.

The scientific program is being built by a Steering Committee of internationally renowned MS experts and is comprised of plenary presentations, research sessions, breakout themed discussion (in discussion/debate format) and poster sessions. Projects will get classified under different themes and then reviewed by the Steering Committee, which will designate the ones to be presented in either the oral research sessions or as a poster on the virtual platform.

This MS Research Week will help us to review current and ongoing MS research projects, view current research trends and discuss potential data gaps that persist. The scope of this forum is to serve as a platform for open scientific exchange and offer opportunities to discuss new future collaborations and direction, without any commercial purpose.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you at this year’s MS Biogen Research Week.

Please do not hesitate to contact Biogen through luca.marchetti@biogen.com if needed for further details.

On behalf of the Steering Committee and from Biogen – with warm regards,
